Understanding Campaign States

Before scheduling, you should know whether your campaign is active, inactive or in draft.

🟒 Active campaigns are published and currently running on your site

πŸ”΄ Inactive campaigns are published and not currently running on your site

🟑 Draft campaigns are prepared campaigns not yet published.

‍

Scheduling an Active Campaign Off

1.) Navigate to the active campaign you intend to set to β€œoff”.

2.) Select the schedule on/off button.

3.) Choose the exact date and time for the campaign to stop and adjust your timezone
as needed.

4.) Implement the timing rule. This action will be marked in Red, indicating the campaign is scheduled to pause at your specified time.

Scheduling The Campaign Back On:

1.) Set the date and time for the campaign to reactivate.

2.) Implement the timing rule. Your campaign is now scheduled to resume at the designated time. This action will be marked in Green.

Scheduling Draft Campaigns

You can only schedule campaigns that are published. Drafts cannot be scheduled to activate. Here's how to manage this:

1.) Once your draft campaign is finalized, select β€˜push live’ leftside arrow, then β€˜Publish and set status to off’. This ensures your campaign is uploaded to your Amped account but remains inactive on your site.

2.) Schedule your campaign to activate at your desired time.

3.) Likewise, set the time for the campaign to deactivate after serving its purpose.

Sequential Campaign Scheduling

If you have campaigns meant to run one after the other, ensure that the timing rules are set up so there's a seamless transition between them without any overlaps.

  • First Campaign: Set it to activate and deactivate at the specific times you've decided.

  • Following Campaign: Schedule it to activate immediately after the first campaign ends and to deactivate at the pre-determined time.

Final Checks

Once you’ve established all the timing rules:

1.) Review the scheduling of all your campaigns to ensure accuracy.

2.) Visit your Amped dashboard to see an overview of the scheduled campaigns by hovering over the campaigns.

3.) Ensure that each campaign is set to activate and deactivate at the intended times.

Boom!πŸŽ‰ Your campaigns will run like clockwork, allowing you to maximize engagement and conversions with well-timed promotions.
