Targeting specific sections of your website with customized campaigns can enhance your site's engagement and conversion rates. With Amped.io, creating these campaigns is a straightforward process. This guide will help you set up specific campaigns for different areas of your site, such as the Cart page, Blog section, or Collections.

1. Start with a General Campaign

Begin by setting up a site-wide campaign in Amped. The initial campaign could be as simple as capturing visitors' emails. The main goal here is to have a baseline campaign that you can later adapt to target specific site sections.

2. Analyze Your Site's URL Structure

Observe the URL patterns on your website to identify different sections. For example, your blog posts might be under 'yoursite.com/blog/post-name'. Recognizing these URL patterns is essential for setting up targeted campaigns.

3. Exclude Specific Sections from the General Campaign

Next, exclude the specific site sections you want to target from the site-wide campaign. To do this, select 'Page Targeting' in the campaign settings. Then, set a rule where the campaign does not show on the URLs that contain the specific section keyword. For instance, to exclude the blog section, set the rule to not show the campaign on URLs that contain '/blog/'.

4. Set Up a Campaign for the Specific Section

After excluding a specific site section from the site-wide campaign, you'll need to create a new campaign for that section. Duplicate the general campaign and adjust the page targeting rule to 'currently viewing page URL that contains blogs'. This setup ensures that the campaign only runs in the blog section.

5. Customize the Campaign

You can now modify the new campaign to suit the targeted site section. You might want to change the design, trigger rules, and visitor conditions to align with the targeted section's visitor behavior. For instance, you could set up inactivity triggers for mobile users in the blog section or an exit intent trigger for desktop users.

6. Enable Safe Display

Safe Display is an essential feature when running multiple campaigns. It ensures that if a visitor sees one campaign, they won't immediately see another one. This setting is on by default from most Amped Templates and prevents people from seeing popup on top of popup or one right after the other.

7. Launch Your Campaign

Once you've fine-tuned your campaign, you're ready to launch. The new campaign will now only target visitors in the specified site section.

8. Repeat the Process for Other Site Sections

You can repeat this process to target other site sections, like the Cart page or Collections. Each time, you'll need to adjust the page targeting rules and tailor the campaign to the specific section.

Remember, the key to successful campaigns lies in their relevance to the user's current context. Amped.io makes it possible to deliver the right campaign to the right user at the right time.
