In Amped, there are three primary ways to set up mini quizzes: button groups, checkboxes, and radio buttons. Here's a quick rundown on each method:
1. Using Button Groups
You can create mini quizzes using multiple button groups, each having a "User Property" action applied to the button as well as a "Go to step" action to progress the campaign.
Note: When setting up the user property, make sure to keep the name consistent for each quiz answer and either write in a specific value for each answer option or toggle on the "Use text as value" setting to auto-fill the text for the value.
2. Using Checkboxes
Checkboxes enable users to select multiple options as their answers. Because of this, it's helpful to include text such as "select all that apply" below your question prompt.
Checkbox elements don't have action applied to them; therefore, to capture the quiz data, you will need an additional button with a "Capture data" action as well as an action to progress users through the campaign.
3. Using Radio Buttons
Radio buttons are similar to checkboxes but differ in that users can only select one option. Like checkboxes, radio buttons also require an additional button to capture the data and proceed to the next step. (see image above)
Note: For both checkboxes and radio button options, make sure to apply a value for each individual option. You can also choose to have a particular option be preselected upon entrance.
