π± Sending SMS Subscribers To A Specific List In Klaviyo
If you need to adjust the list where your SMS subscribers are sent in Klaviyo before launching your campaigns, follow these simple steps:
Access Your Campaign: Navigate to the editor of the campaign where you want to modify the list for SMS subscribers (if launching a split test, youβll need to do this for each variation).
Locate List on Primary CTA: By default, Klaviyo sends subscribers to the list set as your default on the account level - typically this is setup when you first activate your integration.
You can find your default list on the integrations page in Klaviyo.
Customize the List on SMS Step CTA: To send SMS subscribers to a different list, navigate to the SMS capture step > Primary CTA > Button Actions > click "Customize" by Klaviyo.
Select the List: Click on the drop-down menu to view all available lists in your Klaviyo account. Choose the list you want to assign for SMS subscribers.
Amped can send to any active list within your account.
Confirm and Save: Once you've selected the desired list, save your changes. Now, SMS subscribers will be directed to the new list you've specified.
π€ FAQs:
No Segments, Just Lists: Currently, Amped does not support sending to Klaviyo segments. However, by organizing subscribers into lists, you can create segments based on list membership within Klaviyo itself as needed.
SMS Subscribers List Settings: If your SMS subscribers list is setup as double opt-in (recommended for SMS but not recommended for email list) Amped recommends that you setup the last step of your campaign with messaging that directs users to check their texts and 'Reply YES' to become fully subscribed. This reinforces for the user that there is one more action they need to take in order to become subscribed!
Welcome Flow Triggers: Please confirm (before launching) that your SMS welcome flow is setup to fire when a user is added to your SMS list or becomes subscribed to SMS. This will ensure that when a user becomes fully subscribed, the right welcome message fires.
π¨ This is critical especially if users are being told to check their texts for their discount code!
