Overview of how to add Amped to your Shopify Theme.
First you will need to install the Amped Shopify App.
Once you have installed the Amped Shopify App you still need to activate Amped on your current theme (app embed).
Here's a quick video walkthrough of how to do this and below are detailed steps on how to Install the App and Enable Amped on your theme:
1. Install the Amped Shopify App
Go to the Amped app page on the Shopify App Store (https://apps.shopify.com/amped).
Click the "Add app" button.
Review the permissions that the app requires and click "Install app".
You will be redirected to the Amped dashboard.
If you already have an Amped account, select "Sign in" and do not create a new Amped account.
IMPORTANT: The Amped Shopify App has now been installed and connected to your Amped account, but you still need to enable the Amped code snippet embed on your theme (explained below).
2. Activate the Amped Code Snippet App embed on Your Theme
From your Amped dashboard, you will see a button to "Enable on my current theme", or you can go to the top right dropdown menu in Amped and go to "Integrations" > "Shopify". You will see that the app is connected, but you still need to enable it on your theme.
Click the "Enable on my current theme" button.
This will open your current Shopify theme settings and automatically enable the Amped Code Snippet app embed.
Confirm that the toggle for "Amped Code Snippet" App embed is set to "On".
Click the "Save" button to apply your changes.
