This guide will show you how to install Amped on your website using Google Tag Manager.

We'll show you how to add a new Custom HTML tag with your Amped Code Snippet that you'll then trigger on All pages of your site through Google Tag Manager.
Note: If you are using Shopify, it is recommended to use the official Amped Shopify App instead of through Google Tag Manager.
Steps to install Amped with Google Tag Manager
1. Log in to your Amped account and navigate to "Integrations" in the top right account dropdown.

β2. Click on "Manual Code Snippet Install" to find your Amped Code Snippet.

β3. Copy the Amped Code Snippet.

β4. Go to Google Tag Manager and Add a new tag.

β5. Select "Custom HTML" as the Tag Configuration.

β6. Paste the Amped Code Snippet into the Custom HTML and name the tag "Amped".

β7. Set the trigger for the tag to "All pages" and save the new tag.

β8. Be sure to publish the new Google Tag Manager configuration to add Amped to your site. VERY IMPORTANT.

Once you hit Publish, that's it! Amped is now on your site! π
