This article goes over how you can easily find and confirm if the Amped code snippet is present on your site.

🚨 If the Amped snippet is not present on your site (or the code snippet is removed) then your campaigns will not fire live - even if the campaign is active in Amped dashboard.

How to determine if the snippet is off your site:

  1. Check if "Total site visitors" metric in Amped dashboard has dropped to zero.

  2. Check if you are able to "Live Preview" your campaign from the editor

  3. Check if your active campaign is firing live on the site

πŸ€“ Snippet Lookup in Page Console

How to Confirm Your Installation:

  1. Navigate to your website

  2. Open the browser's developer tools

    1. You can open your browser's console by right-clicking anywhere on the site page, and from the context menu, select "Inspect" or "Inspect Element" (the wording may vary depending on your browser). This will open your browser's Developer Tools.

  3. Click on the "Console" tab to access the console.

  4. Check for ampedConfig in the Console to determine if Amped has been installed.

In the console, type ampedConfig and press Enter.

  • If the console returns an array, this indicates that Amped is successfully installed on your site.

  • If the console returns a message such as Uncaught ReferenceError: ampedConfig is not defined, it means that the Amped Code Snippet has not been properly installed on your theme.

πŸ“£ If you find that Amped has not been installed correctly, review the installation steps to ensure you have followed them accurately, or consider using the Amped Shopify App for a more straightforward installation process.
