πŸ‘ Amped works on any website, not just Shopify

πŸ‘ Amped works great on headless and single page applications

Here are the easiest ways to install Amped on your website:

Option 1) Use the Amped Shopify App (if using Shopify)

If you’re using Shopify, simply install the Amped Shopify App and enable Amped in your theme.

Option 2) Use Google Tag Manager to Install Amped

Next best option is to use Google Tag Manager to include the Amped Code Snippet on your Website.

Option 3) Manually install the Amped JavaScript snippet on to your site

If you're using a custom site, you can simply install Amped by adding the Amped JavaScript snippet to your site before closing the </body> tag on your site.

You can find your account's Amped Code Snippet by going to Integrations -> Manual Code Snippet Install

Navigating to Amped Integrations and then Code Snippet
Viewing your Amped Code Snippet

Option 4) Other platform install guides

And if you don’t use Shopify or Google Tag Manager, here are a few helpful platform specific guides.

βœ… How to Confirm Your Installation

  1. Visit your Shopify store after adding the Amped Code Snippet to your theme.

  2. Open the browser's console.

    1. You can open your browser's console by right-clicking anywhere on the page, and from the context menu, select "Inspect" or "Inspect Element" (the wording may vary depending on your browser). This will open your browser's Developer Tools. Click on the "Console" tab to access the console.

  3. Check for ampedConfig in the Console to determine if Amped has been installed.

In the console, type ampedConfig and press Enter.

  • If the console returns an array, this indicates that Amped is successfully installed on your site.

  • If the console returns a message such as Uncaught ReferenceError: ampedConfig is not defined, it means that the Amped Code Snippet has not been properly installed on your theme.

If you find that Amped has not been installed correctly, review the installation steps to ensure you have followed them accurately, or consider using the Amped Shopify App for a more straightforward installation process.
